Admire, under crossed Polars

This pallasite, found near Admire, Kansas, in 1881 includes a mix of larger crystals, and a smattering of small sand-grain sized.  Look for the way these latter exhibit dramatic color changes as the relationship between polarizers, or between the mineral and the wave plate changes.  PetroViewer purchased this Admire from Steve Arnold, (IMCA #2352) who found additional Admire specimens during filming of an episode of the television show, "The Meteorite Men."
